Before and After Power Memory™ Optimization
Before After

FAQ:
Q. What is the suitable time to defragement my memory?
A. When Windows prompts you for “Insufficient memory” when you run some program, or when Power Memory is running and it alarms by itself in sound for insufficient memory. However, it’s unlikely that your system can be insufficient in memory if the Monitoring function is enabled.
Q. How should I set the amount of memory to free for defragmentation?
A. 5 user types are provided in the Power Memory Options. The amount of memory to be freed is set automatically for each user type. What you should do is only to choose a user type based on your experience and requirement, and click “Save”.
Q. How to use the Monitoring function?
A. Monitoring works in an intelligent way. It begins to work when you start Power Memory. It will monitor inactive processes in the memory, and reclaim the memory occupied by these programs. When these programs need memory again, Monitoring will return memory back. In such a way, your work will not be improperly influenced, and the memory requirements of currently active programs can be fully guaranteed. Therefore, it’s not recommended for you to stop Monitoring.
Q. Why Unknowns are displayed for some items in Chip Info?
A. This is because some memory bar vendors have special standards, and Power Memory can’t acquire data related to some memory bars.
Q. How to set the size for hard disk IO Cache?
A. Power Memory will automatically figure out a suitable IO Cache size and set it for you based on your system configuration. The value shown when you open Cache Manager is the most suitable value. You only need to click Save to save it. This function will be effective only after you have restarted Windows.
Q: I have set some items to run after some delay at Windows startup, why they haven’t been launched after all?
A. The function of delay running at Windows startup requires Power Memory to be active. You must also start Power Memory at Windows startup.
Q. What services within Service Manager can be stopped?
A. In principle, all services provided within Service Manager can be stopped. However, if you use your computer within a local area network, please do not stop “Server” and “Computer Browser”.
